Bwin Sportsbook Review

Bwin has been a mainstay of the European gambling landscape for almost two decades now and they’ve been steadily increasing their influence beyond the borders of their home continent. At the moment Bwin does not offer a sign up bonus as it’s currently under restructure after it was purchased by online-gambling operator GVC Holdings PLC in September, 2015. [+]

We expect them to once again offer sign up bonuses in the near future, but until then we’re sorry to say there’s nothing to see here. Though their sportsbook is their original and best-developed product, in no means do they put all their eggs in one basket.

Fantastic sports betting is complimented by casino and poker offerings that are built to impress, as do the live betting and mobile provisions. A simple sign-up process, plus bonus and promotional offers that will tempt all bettors, show that Bwin is certainly eager to win the hearts and attention of their clients.

At the moment Bwin does not offer a sign up bonus as it’s currently under restructure after it was purchased by online-gambling operator GVC Holdings PLC in September, 2015. We expect them to once again offer sign up bonuses in the near future, but until then we’re sorry to say there’s nothing to see here.

  • Bwin Deposit Methods

    Bwin Deposit Methods

Bwin allow most of the usual methods to make deposits to your account including Visa and Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and bank transfer. The specific options vary from country to country and can be checked on the Bwin site. It is also worth noting that they charge a 2% fee for deposits made by Visa or Mastercard though there is no charge for the many of the other safe and secure deposit methods offered in the Bwin Cashier section.

  • Bwin Payout Methods

    Bwin Payout Methods

As with the deposit methods, Bwin offer Visa, PayPal, Neteller, Moneybookers and bank transfer for withdrawals, and while they themselves charge no fees they mention that your bank or card issuer could do so with Visa card or bank transfer withdrawals. While the minimum deposit amount is just €10, the minimum amount required for a withdrawal from the account is €30. Payments are generally processed in reasonable time and customer service representatives offer some assistance when problems arise, though they are less efficient than some.

    Bwin Website Review

The Bwin website itself is a slick affair, with good use of images and space, giving visitors room to navigate effectively. Easy to find links to popular markets and the ability to add particular markets to your “favourites” keeps everything neat and tidy. Their live betting area of the site is particularly impressive with all the betting markets presented in an intuitive manner. Some may find the dark backgrounds not to their taste, but from the point of view of presenting a great deal of concise information, in an efficient manner, the various betting platforms at Bwin hits the mark square on.

  • Bwin Betting Lines

    Bwin Betting Lines

Bwin boasts to having one of the largest betting markets on the Internet, with up to 30,000 offers that cover up to up to 90 sports daily and, credit to them, they certainly cover more than most. As well as the main sports, they are strong on soccer for instance,  Bwin covers a fair number of minor sports including such obscure offerings as rink hockey, cross country skiing and chess. They do however fall slightly short, compared to many of their European rivals, when it comes to betting on the ponies. We hear that an upgrade to the Racebook, to build on their current provision, is on the way.

  • Bwin Casino Review

    Bwin Casino Review

Using games created by Partygaming and others, Bwin’s casino offers a reasonable number of games, but seasoned casino players might find the choice to be limited compared to others. They have a handful of traditional table games and also some video poker and live dealer options, but the bulk of the games available are of the slots variety. Even then, however, some of those are a little clunky and have been surpassed by fancier games elsewhere. Bwin are adding new games, like the The Incredible Hulk and The Amazing Spiderman, and that’s an upgrade step in the right direction.
