Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks NFL 2010 Preseason Odds

The Green Bay Packers travel to Seattle Saturday night for a date with the Seattle Seahawks in their second NFL 2010 preseason game and Sportsbook.com currently has its odds at Seahawks -1.

The Green Bay Packers travel to Seattle Saturday night for a date with the Seattle Seahawks in their second NFL 2010 preseason game with most sportsbooks currently slating their odds at  Seahawks -1.

Packers-Seahawks total and prop bets

Most books have the game’s total set around 39 points, which is up a touch from the 38.5-point opening number. Sportsbook.com also has some interesting prop bets set for the matchup.

You can take a look at whether either team will score in the game’s opening seven minutes. If you think they will, current odds for ‘yes’ are at -140 with ’no’ at +110. This seems too good to be true.

Green Bay may have one of the best offenses in the league this year with Aaron Rodgers at the helm and Seattle’s secondary continues to struggle after a tough 2009 campaign. Plus, word out of Seahawks camp is that the first-team offense needs some serious work.

Sportsbook.com is also offering props on total team points (Green Bay-20, Seattle-19),whether the first score will be a touchdown or any other score (touchdown -145), and which team will score first (Green Bay -130).

It’s hard to go against the Packers offense in any of these props when you factor in Rodgers and the Green Bay offense lining up against a questionable Seattle defense. The only real prop that jumps out is possibly looking at playing under on Seattle’s total points scored.

The Seahawks may get it right eventually on offense, but you have to think it’s going to take a while.
