On hold for the most of the race, and last in the field of six at the top of the stretch, Zettholm exploded to win by two lengths. He will need a monumental trip to win the Preakness but – he may figure in the Pick Three!
Cozzetti Looks To Avenge Bodemeister’s Romp In The Arkansas Derby
Albaugh Family Stables LLC brings Cozzetti to the Pimlico Race course in Baltimore, Maryland, after skipping the Run for the Rose in the Kentucky Derby. Cozzetti ran decent from off the pace in his last outing, a fourth place finish in the $1 Million G1 Arkansas Derby. As will be the case on Saturday, Cozzetti couldn’t catch Bodemeister as the eventual Kentucky Derby runner-up romped to a nine-length win in his Derby prep.
