Things are changing quickly at the top of the college football rankings. At the start of the season, Texas was the No. 1 ranked team in the country and the odds-on favorites to win the national title. However, things are changing there. That's because Georgia is the new favorite to win the SEC Championship in 2025. Will the Bulldogs and Kirby Smart be able to get the job done?
Over the weekend, Georgia took on the Tennessee Volunteers at Neyland Stadium and everyone was treated to an incredible game. Tennessee appeared to be in control for most of the game, but the Bulldogs forced overtime and then Gunner Stockton and the offense were able to pull things out. Now, Georgia's confidence is on the rise.

"I'm really proud of this team," Kirby Smart said after the win. "Tennessee deserved to win this game. We didn't play our best game. I got a lot of respect for the way they played, but these kids I got, they never quit, they never quit. A lot of naysayers out there about Gunner, I thought he played his tail off today. We didn't play real well defensively, give Tennessee a lot of credit."

"He's really, I think, in the last two games slowed the game down, just stayed within himself, just where his head's moving, where he's seeing and going through his read progressions, he's been so disciplined on it," DeBoer said of Simpson. "I think it continues to feed on itself when he stays the course and trusts the guys around him. He doesn't try to do too much. The reads will take you where the ball needs to go."
