Green Bay, At 10-6, had a solid 2015 season, but there is still some potential for improvement in the 2016 campaign. If quarterback Aaron Rodgers is under center throughout the season, the Packers will have a shot to not only win the division, but potentially the Super Bowl. Rodgers is a top-three quarterback in the league and will have some favorites of his receivers back at full health. Wide recievers Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb is a top five pairing in the NFL and should propel the Packers to a the North division crown.
Rodgers, with the speedster back to full strength, will have a top tier rotation of targets in Nelson, Cobb (both Pro Bowlers) and breakout candidate Davante Adams. Green Bay also has the luxury of having two running backs, bruising enforcer Eddie Lacy and the agile James Starks, that could start at any time. Lacy has been the lead back in Green Bay since he was drafted by the Packers but inconsistency and injuries slowed his pace last year, opening the door for Starks to shine. While there probably won’t be a backfield rotation if Lacy is playing at full strength, it is definitely something to keep an eye out for as the season moves along.
The most critical unit of the offense though is the Green Bay offensive line. Perhaps the best overall group of any of the offensive lines in the NFC North, the Packers feature standouts in guards Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang in addtion to former first round draft pick Bryan Bulaga.
Tight end Richard Rodgers had a breakout year as the red zone favorite or Rodgers in a handful of games but will have to battle for time with newcomer Jared Cook.

Though the inside linebackers are somewhat weaker in comparison to their counterparts on the outside, Green Bay has a solid core of players.
Green Bay let go of nose tackle mainstay B.J. Raji to free agency and will now roll with the lineup of Mike Pennel leading the way. Defensive ends Mike Daniels and Letroy Guion return this year and are pencilled in as the starters for the bookend positions.
