Bet This Driver To Win 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Title

One of the most unpredictable but competitive seasons in NASCAR history is down to one race. Four drivers remain in championship contention in Phoenix on Sunday, November 6. Read this to get our best NASCAR betting pick to win it all in Phoenix.

2022 NASCAR Championship 4 Preview

Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain, Chase Elliot, and Joey Logano are the final four drivers left in the playoffs after nine races. No need to mention who’s ahead in the standings cause none of that matters at this point. The top-finishing driver in Phoenix is the Cup Series winner, every other prior race and result he damned. Before we preview the Championship 4 race, let’s take a hard look at the current odds listed at top bookmakers. Here's how each driver fares right now:

Christopher Bell+260+260
Ross Chastain+330+330
Joey Logano+330+330

Elliott is the odds-on favorite, as he should be if we're measuring the entire season. His five wins are the most in the circuits this year. Not only has he been the sport’s best driver in 2022, the Phoenix track has also been kind to him. In 13 starts there, Elliott has a victory, five top-5 finishes, and eight top 10s. That one win? The 2020 season finale, which gave him the Cup Series title. So Elliott has been here, done that already.

Trailing closely behind in second is Bell. Down 33 points from the elimination cutoff, Bell practically needed a straight-up win at Martinsville to put him into this race and that’s exactly what he did. It’s the second time he’s done so in the playoffs with his back against the wall. Bell also won in Charlotte to force his way into the Round of 8 when he was 45 points off the cut-off line. If anyone has shown to be a closer this postseason, it’s definitely Bell.

Logano and Chastain are tied at third with equal +330 odds — and how different these two are. Chastain is the breakout star of the season, and perhaps, the Next Gen era. Here’s his resume in 2022: two victories, 14 top 5’s (the most of all drivers this season) and 20 top 10s (tied for most). Not bad for a guy who had zero career wins at the start of the season, eh? Chastain might lack the experience of the other four, but that’s done little to slow him down this season.

Speaking of experience, Logano has an abundance of it, which really separates himself from the pack. Logano has made the Championship 4 race every even year dating back to 2014, with 2018 being the lone winning season. He has also excelled at the Phoenix track in year’s past. He has two wins and seven top 5’s at the track in previous appearances.

Best Bet To Win 2022 NASCAR Championship 4

You could make strong arguments on all four remaining drivers to be the go-to bet of the NASCAR Championship 4. And believe us, that’s what we did internally. However, there’s one name that had the strongest argument in our book.

It’s certainly not Elliott, that’s for sure. We just don’t like his form as of late. Since winning the Yellawood 500, Elliott has placed 10th or worse each of the prior four events. Momentum is far, far from Elliott's side right now.

We went back-and-forth with the other three drivers but we’re picking Bell to win his first-ever Cup Series. Just like we’re avoiding Bell because of his lack of momentum, we’re taking Bell to win for having ALL the momentum. His two walk-off wins were as impressive as can be and that killer instinct is what it’ll take to win in Phoenix. We’re riding his +260 betting line to the bank!
