You got to bet City here, and we mean got to. The club pulled off the historic treble last season and is still loaded across the roster. The world’s best football manager, Pep Guardiola, and the game’s biggest rising star, Erling Haaland, are back and that’s already a huge advantage for Man City.
But with that said, City isn’t looking like locks either. The team did have quite the roster turnover with the likes of Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez being goners. More studs like Bernando Silva and Joao Cancelo could be moved too. Perhaps that’s why City are only marginal favorites to take the premiership.
Regardless, we’re sticking to our guns and betting City. Guardiola will find a way to make the roster work like he seemingly always does. Man City is deep enough to replace those who’ve left and any that remain on the chopping block. Take their future like now before it gets too lopsided if they start off fast in the season.

Here’s a fun bet. You simply are picking which team places somewhere in the top four of the table by year’s end. Obviously, you have four different ways of winning this one. Here’s your list of betting options:

While betting on the “big six” is the safe bet, we personally wanted to add some risk on this wager and take a non-major club. Among the options, it’s hard to go wrong with Newcastle. The club placed fourth a year ago (the first time in 20 years) — ahead of Liverpool, Tottenham, and god-awful Chelsea. We’re confident they could do the same, if not better, in 2024.
For one, Newcastle will compete in the Champions League this season. Whereas some could argue that added fatigue will slow them down in the EPL, we beg to differ. If anything, that extra competition might sharpen the iron per se.
Reason two, people forget how slow Newcastle got off a year ago. This team was winless in its first six — five of those being ties. If Newcastle can avoid that slow start, they’ll be in such a better position year-round.
Newcastle will likely be EPL contenders for the foreseeable future. It’s been nothing but up since Saudi money entered the picture in 2021 and we don’t see that stopping this season. Take ‘em in this spot!
Golden Glove Award Winner
City’s three-title streak coincides with Ederson’s own three straight Golden Glove wins. Therefore, you know Anderson is the betting favorite to once again win the award for best goalkeeper. Here are the betting contenders for the piece of hardware:

We’re on record saying City is still the team to beat. If so, it’ll be hard to dispute Ederson won’t be a big part of their success. The keeper’s impact isn’t just confined inside the net, though he does a great job at that (139 clean sheets in 289 games for the club). Ederson is also an excellent kick-taker. Many times, his goal kicks kickstart the free-flowing City attack.
Were putting money on Ederson here, no questions asked. Only 29 years old, Ederson still has plenty left in the tank. Heck, he might even be in line for a captain armband now that Gundogan is not around. Kevin de Bruyne and Ederson have strong cases for the armband given their club consistency over the years.
