The Boston Bruins are an Original Six franchise and represent the group proudly by making smart hockey decisions off the ice that have resulted in long-term success. Make no mistake, the Bruins would have a brighter future if they didn’t ship out Tyler Seguin at the first sign of growing pains but that’s the culture that has helped Boston ascend to the top of the NHL. The no-nonsense attitude and straight forward style of play makes Boston a good team to bet on.

The Bruins have endured their down times since joining the NHL but they are a franchise that always finds a way to rebuild from the ashes and compete for championships.

During the 2022-23 season, Boston put up a stellar campaign led by core stars like Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy. Young talents like Fabian Lysell and John Beecher emerged as key contributors.

After a decade-plus drought between Stanley Cup victories, expectations remain high for the hungry Bruins to capture another championship. Their mix of savvy veterans, skilled youth, physical play and championship pedigree still makes them a threat in the postseason.

Boston Bruins Standings Today

Check out the NHL standings before placing any bets and pay close attention to teams that have already qualified for the playoffs, and those who are already eliminated from contention. [+]

NHL teams rarely announce full lineups more than an hour before the game. Sometimes teams find out on their way to the ice. If you see Boston has clinched, they may rest key players, which makes their chances of winning exponentially less likely.

How To Make Money Betting On Boston Bruins

You can only do something for the first time once, and in the case of the Bruins, they were the first team to put the NHL on the map in the United States. When the city was granted an NHL expansion franchise in 1924, the Bruins became the NHL's first American-based team.

It was tough sledding that first season, as the Bruins won just six of 30 games but under the tutelage of coach Art Ross, who would oversee Boston's fortunes well into the 1950s, by 1926-27 Boston was playing in the Stanley Cup Final, the first American-based team to do so and two years later defeated the New York Rangers in the first all-American Stanley Cup Final series.
