Sportsbooks For McGregor Vs Diaz Rematch

Sportsbooks For McGregor Vs Diaz Rematch

Everyone was sitting on pins and needles with anticipation at the prospect of a McGregor/Diaz. That is before we heard news that McGregor will not be permitted to fight. In any case, we have the tale of the tape because in life you just never know.

Best McGregor Vs Diaz Sportsbook Odds

McGregor vs Diaz II is the fight everyone wants to see this year. The first fight was unbelievable and if the two can put on another show like they did earlier this year MMA fans are in for a real treat.

If you're looking to make some money on the night, read our analysis to see how we think it will go down on the night.

Below is a list of the best sports books to place your bets. We can confidently recommend all of these books. They offer the best prices and some of the fastest payouts available, so do yourself a favor and create an account.

Will McGregor Redeem Himself If The Fight Goes Ahead?

Nate Diaz (19-10) sent the fighting world into bedlam when he submitted Conor McGregor (19-3) via rear naked choke in the second round. During the fight Diaz ate numerous big shots from McGregor and plowed onwards. McGregor's left hand has been savage in his career thus far, delivering him 17 KO/TKO victories from his 19 fights including a 13-second KO of former featherweight champion Jose Aldo.

The Irish superstar jumped up two weight classes for this fight after his scheduled fight at 155lbs with Rafael Dos Anjos fell through. After the fight we saw very subdued Conor as he admitted that he was used to guys 'crumbling' after taking such shots and that Nate 'took them shots very well', alluding to the weight jump as a major reason for the loss. He said it affected his movement, which was clear from the onset. Jump to 8.15 on the below video to hear Conor talk about his first clash with Nate Diaz.

Before the fight many believed Conor would be too fast for Diaz. Even Diaz himself was not his usual brass self in the build up. He gave the champ a lot of respect and sprayed very little trash talk. Nate took the fight on with just over a week's notice. Some people thought he was merely after the paycheck.

When all was said and done those people couldn't have been more wrong. Nate took everything Conor had in round one, bided his time and rocked him early in round two, proceeding to apply a rear naked choke, which forced Conor to tap relatively quickly.

What To Look For When Betting On McGregor Vs Diaz

Last time out we saw Conor put on a lot of weight and, consequently, lose some of his movement that has been pivotal to his success in previous fights. He looked desperately tired pretty early in the fight.

McGregor knows that Nate can take his best shots so look for Conor to tone down the power a little and score some points instead of going for that big KO finish so quickly.

Diaz is one of the toughest men on the planet and always has fantastic stamina, so there is no issue there. If Diaz gets another win, he is guaranteed another massive pay day and some of the recognition he rightly deserves from his employers.

We expect Nate to use his unorthodox boxing style to get Conor's attention before trying to take the fight to the ground where the difference between the two is vast. Conor may well be useful on the ground, but Nate is an elite Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner and should be able to comfortably tie Conor up on the ground.

With a full training camp and the confidence of his UFC 196 win, we predict the exact same outcome the second time around. The safe bet is on a Diaz win, but if you want a bigger price and better returns follow my pick below.

Pick: Diaz by Sub, Round 2 (If the fight goes ahead)
