Once again, Atlanta covered the spread this past weekend. That now makes them a perfect 6-0 ATS this season — the only team in the NFL that’s unbeaten in that regard. But despite that, the top-used NFL betting sites have once again made the Falcons almost touchdown underdogs against Cincinnati. Bookies don’t learn so they?
This Atlanta team isn’t nearly as bad as bookmakers make them out to be. They disposed of a good 49ers team on Sunday. Offensively, we were impressed with the Falcon's play. Quarterback Marcus Mariota — continuing his career redemption arc — was wildly efficient against one of the league's best defenses in that game. He completed 13-of-14 pass attempts for 129 yards, plus another 50 yards carrying and three total touchdowns.
Mariota’s confidence is growing and that’s perfect going into this road matchup with the AFC Conference champions. The Bengals' defense — after holding each opponent to 20 or fewer points — was gashed this past Sunday by the Saints. Most of that damage came on the ground as New Orleans tallied a whopping 228 yards rushing. A repeat performance could be on the horizon because the Falcons are a run-first team through and through.
Only one team has more rushing attempts than Atlanta this season. Likewise, only two teams have out-gained the Falcons on the ground. We foresee Atlanta having ample success rushing the ball against Cincy. Not only will that move the chains for the offense, but it’ll also chew up the clock and keep the Bengals’ high-octane offense off the field. We don’t see the Falcons losing by a touchdown or more, no way, not with this favorable matchup.
Over/Under 41 Points: Green Bay Packers at Washington Commanders

Two of the most pitiful offenses in the league square up in Washington and it’s no wonder why online sportsbooks have set the Commanders-Packers over/under at a conservative 41 points — the second-least in all of Week 7.
Where do we start with this over/under analysis? Maybe the Packers going three and a half quarters without a touchdown last week while at home and playing the Jets? Nothing went right for Green Bay that day — and not just because of the team’s woeful receiving corp. Yes, that corp dropped six passes, but Aaron Rodgers himself missed just as many throws of his own. These offensive problems are deep-seated and won’t be fixed in one week.
Speaking of deep problems, Washington appears to be falling apart at the seams. Coach Ron Rivera is publicly throwing his quarterback under the bus not even halfway into the season. Sure, the Commanders won an ugly 12-7 game against the Bears, but their inability to move the ball was obvious. Its lone touchdown came because of a muffed punt which put them on the goal line. Carson Wentz is taking the blame but truth be told, this offensive line can’t give him any time to actually throw.
You can probably guess what bet we’re taking here — the under. Neither offense has done anything as of late to warrant an over bet.

Honestly, we're stunned Las Vegas is getting seven points on the spread against Houston. The Raiders are 1-5 this season and are fresh off blowing a double-digit lead at home. Davante Adams was charged with a misdemeanor after pushing a photographer after the loss in frustration. Does a team like this really warrant a touchdown spread?
We sure don't think so. And while, yes, the Texans are full of warts themselves with a middling 1-4-1 record, what you can say about this group is that they're far from an easy win. Only one team, the Chargers, was able to beat them by more than a possession. At the very least, we think this game comes down to the wire. In that scenario, a Houston cover is highly likely.
