NFL Conference Championship: Preview & Picks

Championship Sunday is upon us, who will book their trip to Super Bowl 54? We have previews to both the AFC and NFC title game, along with free picks to make. Be sure to read this before making any wagers!
NFL conference championship odds 2020 are out and online sportsbooks have pegged these teams as the favorites to advance to Super Bowl 54:
- Kansas City (-350)
- San Francisco (-315)
It's a little surprising how lopsided the Vegas odds NFL conference championships are on both sides. Are bookies on to something? Or just an overlook on their part?
Before we answer those two questions, we must point out that now is the peak time to signup for a sportsbook and earn a hefty welcome bonus in return. Super Bowl time always brings out the best deals, which means tons of free play for new sign-ups. Ask yourself, are you going to leave free money on the table?
No. 6 Tenessee Titans vs. No. 2 Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5)
Both matchups are actually rematches of regular-season games. On the AFC side, the Titans escaped with a 35-32 victory over the Chiefs back in week 10.
The difference is that game was in the friendly confines of the Titans' home, while Sunday's grudge match will be in an icy cold Arrowhead Stadium. Still, Tennessee plays the style of football that's needed to win a road playoff game.
That style starts and ends with a pulverizing run game. Tennessee running back Derrick Henry has been nothing short of unstoppable in back-to-back wins against New England (possibly ending its historic dynasty) and Baltimore (the previously-best team in the NFL). He's topped at least 175 yards in rushing both games — an NFL first in the same postseason.
We're not saying Henry will duplicate those historic numbers, but he'll move the chains. More importantly, it'll seize clock time and keep the high-powered, Patrick Mahomes-led offense of Kansas City sidelined. Bet the Titans to cover a one-touchdown spread.
Betting pick to make: Tenessee (+7.5)
No. 2 Green Bay Packers vs. No. 1 San Francisco 49ers (-7)
Judging by its regular-season meeting, it's probably no surprise why Green Bay has such long NFC conference championship game odds. In Week 12, the 49ers absolutely trounced the Packers 37-8 on their home-field.
Will Saturday be deja vu all over again? We say, yes.
This San Francisco team is perhaps the most complete team in the entire league. They finished the regular season ranked second in total defense (281.8 yards per game) and fifth in total offense (381.1). That tear has continued in the postseason after trouncing Minnesota 27-10.
We like the 49ers to cover the spread here. Not only are they the superior team, but traveling all the way West coast will be a detriment to Green Bay.
Betting pick to make: San Francisco (-7)
That does for our conference championship pick. Now if you need a trustworthy sportsbook to lock in our picks, the below hand-picked list can assist you.
