The New York Giants compete in the NFC East division, having been created in 1925. Unlike most NFL sides, the New York Giants share their MetLife Stadium with the New York Jets in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Giants were one of five teams that joined the NFL back in 1925 and are the only one of that quintet who exist today, making the Giants the oldest NFL team in existence. Rivalries are common in professional sport, but the Giants’ rivalry with Philadelphia Eagles dates back to 1933 and is regarded as the best NFL rivalry in the 21st century.

Games between these two teams are explosive and a joy to watch. Prior to the Super Bowl’s creating, the Giants won four NFL championships. They have also won four Super Bowl rings. The last of these Super Bowl titles came in 2011 when the Giants beat New England Patriots 21-17 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana.

How have the Giants performed over the years?

The Giants aren’t currently one of the best teams in the league, but they have had a rich history in the league and certainly stand among the most successful teams in the history of the sport.
